Detailed Description

The profile manager maintains a set of properties that control the adaption process. The manager decouples sensors that set these properties, from adaption methods that use the properties.

An example for such a property is the locale the user preferes.

Some technical notes:

• gitk-core should initialize profile-properties such as locale with system defaults
• renderers (e.g. html) can overwrite this during their init-phase

Todo:

every property should have callbacks, that are triggered on property changes

we need a foreach property method what about putting the profile as XML into the dialog, so that XSLs can access it (giml/profile)
